Across spiritual traditions, 40 days marks a holy threshold - a period of purification, devotion, and preparation for what's next.
In the Bible, 40 days signified seasons of testing and renewal:
Moses fasted for 40 days before receiving divine instruction.
Jesus retreated into the wilderness for 40 days before his ministry began.
The Great Flood's rains lasted 40 days, cleansing the Earth before new life emerged.
In Kundalini Yoga, 40 days is the cycle needed to:

WHAT Chanting 40 DAYS OF the ADI SHAKTI mantra AWAKENS IN YOU
Adi Shakti is the Kundalini Bhakti mantra, a mantra of pure devotion. With it we bow to the Primal Power, to the all-encompassing Power, to the Power through which the Divine creates, and to the Kundalini Mother herself. When a woman chants it daily, she stops reaching for power and starts moving as it.
I say this from my own life: 40 days of this practice can change everything, if you root into it and let yourself wield what it awakens.
Feminine Power. You call the fullness of your Shakti into your body, so that you live and lead from the source of your own power.
